Our hybrid physician program offers a cost-effective solution for lower-volume facilities looking for a hospitalist. Through this program, an ER physician is trained so that they can be used as an inpatient manager during off-peak emergency department hours, leading to a reduction in unnecessary transfers.

Coverage

ESS will staff the emergency department and inpatient floor 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with single physician coverage. Our team recruits a core group of full‐time physicians. We also recruit and credential part-time physicians for vacation, illness, leave of absences and CME coverage. Emergency Staffing Solutions provides qualified physicians to manage patients in the emergency department and inpatient floor. Our clinicians are certified in ACLS, ATLS and PALS. ESS maintains a large staff of experienced recruiters with over 50 years of combined emergency department and hospitalist recruiting experience.
